Measurable Environmental Results

The lake environment that has existed along the banks of the Perkiomen Creek for nearly 300 years will be sustained. The flora, animals and aviary populations conducive to this environment will be maintained. Additionally, wetlands associated with the property will persist because by maintaining the dam, while at the same time maintaining a specified water table and recharging local well water supplies. Stream bank restoration will increase stability on the banks and will reduce erosion and sedimentation of downstream drinking water supplies.
