About Business Marketing Group's Founders
Daniel J. Helwig, President began his Real Estate career in 1969 by marketing pimarily commercial properties in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Since 1976, Dan has operated his own Real Estate Agency brokering commercial, industrial, new construction, residential, land and business properties. The son of builder August Helwig, Dan is a former chairman of the Planning Commission of Skippack Twp., active member and past president of Montgomery Co. Association of Realtors. He is a licensed Pennsylvania and New Jersey Real Estate Broker and Instructor, and an Accredited Business Broker.

Lou Starr, Vice President joined BMG in 2001 and has made an enthusiastic start and contribution to the organization. For the three prior decades, Lou had been involved in a number of small to medium size businesses for his own account, including seven startups, one acquisition, and three divestitures. His prry focus in the 70's 80's and 90's was in the founding a growth of Windemere Communications, Inc., a full service pharmaceutical advertising agency. Lou serves on the board of directors of a chain of retail gift shops specializing in American Handcrafts, and is the general partner of a horse racing partnership.
